Protected area Pirin
+ 0 + 0 The protected area covers the whole territory of the National Park "Pirin". It includes 129 nesting bird species, 19 of which are listed in the Red Book of Bulgaria (1985). 44 species are of European conservation concern (SPEC) (BirdLife International, 2004). As globally endangered in the category SPEC1 is included 1 species, and as threatened in Europe in the category SPEC2 - 13 species in SPEC3 - 30 species.
