Harsovo Village is located in Sandanski-Petrich Valley in the southwestern foothills of the Pirin Mountain. Through the village flows river Melnik. About 1,200 decares of vineyards are grown here and the wine produced from them spread the fame of the village in the world for ages. Merchants from Dubrovnik used to come here for wine even before 13 century. The popularity of the wine reached even to Winston Churchill. The church is from the late 18th century and was built on the highest part of the village (something rare at that time). Feast of the village is 21 May.
